Under Whitt they're a legitimate Top 25 program and have dominated the rivalry. Utah fans hate BYU, but deep down inside know that the programs are essentially equal. The people I know who truly hate BYU with every fiber of their souls are all Utah St. fans. Their hatred for BYU is like a defining character trait that- if lost or lessened- would strip them of their very existence. It's bizarre.
