And…there it is. Hope this helps break the ESPN monopoly on college sports. It
is time for other content distributors to take market share.
It’s like how iTunes had a monopoly on digital music forever, then finally we got Spotify, Google Music, Amazon Music, etc.
Time for an evolution in how sports content is distributed.
The next major evolution will need to involve digital streaming services.
This is a great start! ESPN has had a chokehold on college sports since the 1980s. But evolution is undefeated.
