If Lavell had a schlub QB for 73/74 he probably would've been fired
Took a special QB to learn a totally novel system and get things rolling. His numbers were cut short by injury as well.
I was born in 73, right after my parents moved back to Utah. My dad still talks about how exciting it was to go to those BYU games back then.
Anyway, good list overall. I put Sheide on part with Giff Nielsen and Marc Wilson skill-wise and would put him ahead of those two because he was the pioneer.
