It's saying the same thing I said just differently
You let it take you out until you don't feel it pulling you out to sea. Relax basically and don't fight it.
Then when you feel it stop you swim "out of it" ... well swimming back into the current is stupid, so don't do that.
If you seem a bit to either side of the rip you should be able to then swim back to shore (or swim parallel) to
shore.

Yes, if you start swimming parallel to the shore immediately once feeling you are in a rip, you won't make it
unless you are a fantastic swimmer. So don't do that. Relax as they state in the video, but you eventually
have to swim somewhere, and going back the way you came out isn't going to help you.
