Free fall. I would bet most people even here on CB don’t believe free fall. We just don’t say anything about Utah unless directly confronted. Others just run their mouth for no apparent reason with limited substance.

Overrated? Most on here would agree with that. If Utah is the #6 team in the country they will go 13-0. They could do it but may not/probably won’t. Going undefeated is difficult. But Georgia, Bama, and Ohio State fans would look at Utah’s schedule if it was their team and book their tickets to the playoffs.

I think the ranking is a projection of what Utah will do given the schedule they have. Not of how good Utah actually is. I think they probably go 10-2 with some combination of losses to Florida, UCLA, USC, Oregon. Because they started #6 they will likely stay top 10. If they had started where most of us think they should (in the 15-20 range) they would finish outside the top 10…
