I prefer Strava
Strava subscribers can see the traffic patterns of all users. That helps me alot cuz I often hike areas where aren't really clear trails.

onX is pretty good when you’re actually out. AllTrails is nice to find trails

It’s pretty cheap. Worth it for one hike if you’re concerned about getting lost
