He was very focused on the derby, so I told his kid to hide until I said it was okay to come out. My son was freaking out. Luckily he asked me for advice and I told him he needed to pray. Ten minutes later, I got his son to come out and we all shared a hug.

It worked. My son will be attending church tomorrow for the first time in years. Miracles happen.
