Bronco shared a similar philosophy to Tuiaki. Bronco liked…
…the bend but don’t break philosophy. He believed in the philosophy that it was very hard for an offense to consistently put together long sustained drives and he liked to play the field position battle. Anyone remember him punting vs UVa from their 30-something yard line rather than kicking a FG in a game we lost to them by a FG?

I know that CB loves to romanticize about Bronco’s defenses but superior D’s like the 2006 or 2012 D were the exception, not the norm. He generally had solid to good defenses but occasionally had some real clunkers. His defenses in 2003, 2004 and 2005 were really bad, so was his D in 2014 (they were horrible).
