I remember years ago getting quotes for a furnace / AC replacement. I had 3 companies come out, all quoting the same
Lennox system I wanted. One was scheduled through Costco, which would give me a $500 rebate card if I used their referral.
Anyway, 2 came in extremely close on price, and the Costco referral was almost exactly $500 more.
