Take the same steak and serve it at Peter Luger and we’d be raving about it.
Perception plays a role as does food snobbery.
I’ve had a lot of steaks at a lot of places. I’ve had $100 steaks that weren’t as good as $20 steaks. There seems to be a lot of luck of the draw to any given cut, IMO.
