IIRC, BYU is trying to get fans to interact more with recruits and players on
social media.
The perception that BYU has a strong fan following on social media lends to a perception that they will have more NIL success as a BYU athlete.
Sure, don't be creepy, or don't be a stalker, but I can tell you for a fact that we have lost recruits in the past two years because they weren't engaged by fans on social media.
If you don't believe that, then you aren't listening to what matters to this generation of kids.
