UW, OR, Stanford... without them having to pay to leave. Why else state that you are gunning for those teams before their media contract is in place?
If ASU, CO and one other team leave, then the PAC is disbanded — PAC rules state that they need a minimum of 8 schools to be a conference. NCAA's rules state that a conference can have a minimum of 7 schools.
I'm guessing that ESPN may try to keep them together, but knows that it can't compete with the B10 cash. The B10 can add these teams at any time and probably isn't in any hurry. If ASU, AZ and CO bolt for the B12, then the PAC is disbanded and needs to add teams (the PAC/MWC).
