I was not at all happy when he was put in at 1280, but honestly, he seems like he legitimately likes BYU and is starting to win me over a bit. Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember him speaking about how he grew up in Utah County, wanting to go to BYU, but was not heavily recruited by them. He came in when BYU was loaded with great QBs and Utah was a better opportunity for him to play. He took his Utah offer and like Wilson at BYU, became a Utah fan.
He is a member of the Church, and I believe he was a bishop in a BYU student ward. I don’t expect him to ever not be a Utah homer, but like Hans, he seems to tell it like he sees it, with a unique NCAA and long time NFL perspective.
