My sons’ HS played against Sedrick last night. I didn’t realize he had interest in BYU until one of my boys told me he
was committed to BYU even though he’s not LDS (looks like he’s not committed and we haven’t offered yet).
He looked like a solid player who shut down our best WR in the first half until he got tired (he plays both ways). His team is pretty mediocre (we won 49-20) but he was one of the few bright spots for them.
Like you said, it’s nice to see us generate some interest in Big XII country from non-LDS kids.
