1. While walking through a group of Oregon fans on the way to the stadium, one younger fan muttered, “No love, no love.” Not sure if he was talking to me or just giving voice to his daddy issues.

2. Outside the Duck store I heard some Oregon fan yell, “Have fun protecting child predators!” Clearly he didn’t read the church’s official statement on the issue. How embarrassing!

3. I did hear one person shout “fudge the Mormons” (but he didn’t say fudge!). I turned around to say, “Hey, I’m a married man!” but I missed my window.

I found the Oregon fans to be pleasant enough. Nobody was overly nice, I’d say, but nobody was mean either. They seemed apathetic, which is all a visiting fan could really hope for.
