You have people like Spencer or Jarom interviewing these kids about how excited they are at the possibility of a new years 6 game or playoffs. Usually it’s immediately after the first two games. Sometimes even one game.

Obviously it’s part of the fun of sports discussion but what fans talk about and what gets asked of players needs to be reigned in. Put on the brakes a little bit.

I just think of the Simone Biles getting asked by NBC and other press what was it like to be the GOAT. She is a KID. She is in her twenties. No wonder she bowed out. The media put an unfair amount of pressure on a kid to perform.

Here on CB it appears to happen all the time. These are kids and you have bunch of 30/50 year olds putting an undue amount of pressure on them and stupidly higher expectations. Keep your expectations in check. Play off talk is only reserved until much later in the season.
