with a ton of stats before he goes into the NFL because that's what he envisioned for himself.

b) Wants to be someplace other than BYU for one reason or another whether he gets better football opportunities or not

c) Is being heavily influenced by irrational family members who think they know what's best for him.

d) Is having problems of living up to the standards of BYU academically or otherwise.

e) I think most likely a combination of any of the reasons listed above.

Whatever the reason it is difficult for me to believe he would be ignorant enough to think that he wouldn't be able to get as good a chance as anywhere else at the NFL while attending BYU.
