I read mostly history and bios - thought I'd broaden myself with some 'classic lit' - what a slog. Classic because it is weird, time-jumping, stream of consciousness, and lifts the curtains on taboos so it is 'daring and experimental in style'. Nice for Faulkner; I won't pick up another.
