Had a friend help save an elderly woman’s life using one. She was choking on a piece of meat and the life vac was successful in getting the obstruction out of the airway. This is after several unsuccessful attempts of the heimlich by several different trained medical professionals. Said it was the only thing that worked (and worked quickly) in a situation where nobody on the scene had any success.

Apparently there is a lifetime warranty on these from the company. If you use it, they’ll replace it for free for life. They apparently have a wall full of pictures of peoples lives that have been saved by this product.
