Right at the start of the Kentucky game, he took a wicked shot to the knee. Afterwards he said he shook it off, but video clearly shows him limping during that game. I don't think he's been at full strength the past few games. Given his experience and apparent injury, I'd expect improvement.

That said, this is what I love about Jaren Hall. Richardson was widely discussed as a 1st round pick, but he's run substantially less since that hit and staying in the pocket, just hasn't been dangerous.

There's a trend towards dual threat QBs and sometimes we forget that dual threat QB doesn't just mean "QB who can threaten with his legs". They have to also be able to threaten with their arm, from the pocket. Richardson can't do that, so when he's not running, he's bad. Hall can do both and is actually a dual threat
