I’m not necessarily proposing it nor really even in favor of such a thing per se
which you seem to think. I’m just asking questions about feasibility such as if the shade did move straight across (which would not need to be a “tarp”) if it would really obscure the view for everyone in the other three sections.
Also, as I said, Rio Tinto’s is constructed so it goes UP first then outwards over the fans. The upward part being the major reason for any obstructed view.
As far as cost is concerned, all the talk from fans and show hosts over the years of changing bleachers to seats or filling in gaps would all be expensive too. So I think that when they’re ever willing/able to spend on major upgrades the cost of such a shade wouldn’t be an issue if they’re deciding between upgrades.
