Not that hard to imagine. You need players and you need players that start
playing when they are young. Then you need decent 8th grade, 9th grade, and JV programs. I see teams that struggle and they can't even filed full 9th grade and JV teams and people wonder why their varsity team struggles. Incorporate coach turnover and it is hard. It takes years to change and improve a program.
