First time I’m lying on my couch at night, all the lights are off, and I hear a “tick” sound at regular intervals over and over. I turn on the light and the arm of our couch was all wet and I could see water dripping from the ceiling. Turns out our shower was installed completely incorrectly. I had to get creative in solving that one because the only other solution was to completely redo the master shower and that would have required redoing the entire master bath.

Second time was after a guest stayed at our home. He was somewhat heavyset. Well, the wax ring on the guest toilet failed and again, dripping from the kitchen ceiling just below it!

Third and fourth times were dripping after the roof was redone. It was stressful because the brand new roof leaked once. They came and said they fixed it. Then it leaked again. They also forgot to install some gutters. They did nothing to inspire confidence with us!
