Are you one of the morons that you have to take two of you fishing because if you take one you will drink all the beer, and screw all the girls and smoke all the dope. Without a doubt you are. Yes it was a dumb comment by a byu fan. But this is the reaction by most whenever we are less than perfect. Somehow preaching to be Christlike means we are holier than thou, and then when we act human we are criticized for it. “The whole have no need for a physician.” We preach hard doctrine to be Christlike because we aren’t!!! That’s the entire point of the gospel. To turn imperfect messed up people and make them a little better. But ain’t nobody becoming perfect or close to it in this life.
I’d love to shout at the world to shut the heck(I was flagged for using the real word) up…we aren’t perfect so stopped expecting it and stop being shocked when we too, like everyone else act like children at times. We all struggle to live up to our ideals.

That being said, we will never be given the benefit of the doubt, so it is up to us to try to be better and try as best as we can to be a good example for the church. But when we come up short, move on.
