Atrocious 2020 schedule, there’s not a chance he’s a first round pick.

While many programs were not playing due to Covid, BYU scraped together a schedule albeit terrible and to Zach’s credit he made the best of it.

2020 Zach doesn’t look nearly as good against this years schedule. Although Zach was still good, I just think he was more realistically a 4th round ish quality QB.

Remember the one decent opponent that year? Coastal Carolina. Zach was not even average that game. He was below average that game and didn’t even look like an nfl caliber QB let alone a top 5 pick.

Zach Wilson may possibly be the greatest beneficiary of the 2020 Covid year. I can’t think of anyone who benefited more from that year than he did. Again, happy for him and wish him well but he played a schedule full of terrible teams that year.
