That athletes want to try, but I mean the season ended in early March, nearly 7 months ago. Pro athletes do the same....work all summer trying to rehab an injury they already knew they had when the season ended....and how many times do we see a press release or report from a team that "so and so underwent _____ surgery and is expected to be out 6-8 weeks."

Pope is quoted as saying he dealt with that injury all last season....and just NOW you've decided to get it operated on? I genuinely don't get it.
