Today I walked off the shuttle bus from the parking lot the same time as
another dude. I went to the precheck line and he went to Clear. By the time I got to the front of the line (maybe 2 minutes), he finished at the Clear kiosk and they cut him in line right behind me and we went through security at the exact same time.
I’m sure there are airports and times where it really pays off, but for many people there’s not a big benefit for Clear.
