He didn’t. He played with the best screener in the league. Any burden he put on himself was self inflicted. If his decision making was better he would have saved himself a lot of trouble.

But anybody who watched the Jazz knows this isn’t true. If you can’t manage to put together a good defensive effort when your team needs that out of you more than your scoring, you’re never going to do it.
