Have you ever watched Saban coach a game? Dude is relentless and goes after his players and coaches for mistakes when they’re up by 4 TD’s.

The problem is that when we accept mediocrity, even in victory, then we get trucked like we did against Oregon, Washington, UAB, etc. because those glaring issues on defense that regularly haunt us get exposed and cost us those additional wins.

So, if you’re strictly going to look at wins and losses then why not recognize that the same issues that are present in many of our wins are the very same issues that have plagued us in our losses and kept us from having better records?
