it's not worth the $100 or so you'll save. just get a battery powered one

the battery on my Ego mower has gone fine for 4 years now.

I had a gas edger/weed wacker and replaced it with a corded electric one. it was such a huge hassle, I eventually just got a battery powered one when the corded one was still working. I can't imagine how much more of a hassle a corded mower would've been.
