We've been down the road before of things looking great on the surface but there being hints that maybe things could turn sour before long. If people feel like they recognize those signs again and are calling them out, they aren't bad fans or out of line. This might turn out to be a 1996 type of season, where the team was lousy on the road against a PAC opponent but got it back together and turned out great. Or it might be a 2014 type of season, where flaws that showed themselves in games against fairly weak opponents turned out to be major issues that derailed what looked to be a season that many thought would wind up being special.
