For what it’s worth consumer reports rates GE, LG, Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid as “Good” for predicted reliability on almost every model. Samsung is rated as “Fair”. We have had an LG for a couple of years without any issues. We have had lots of problems with Kitchenaid appliances. Bottom line is I don’t think any of them are particularly reliable anymore, Samsung being the worst. They have become cheaper to replace than to fix. I would recommend anything with as few “bells and whistles” as possible. The electronics are what seem to fail more often than not.
