They initially promised 10 years of Lightning support when they announced it and I think that will mark either 10 or 11 years. But it’s more than time to switch the entire Apple lineup over instead of a mix and match of USB-A and C.

My Samsung 21Ultra didn't come with a charger either. You have to buy the fast charger separately.
