There is another possible angle you aren't seeing. Could be that tuiaki went to
Sitake with a scheme that he wants to run and Sitake delegated the scheme decided to be ran on the DC. Could be that the defensive scheme is the DC's and not the head coaches.
The only blame that I feel comfortably falls on Sitake is that he hasn't fired tuiaki. I do blame sitake for that.
