• Zach Wilson (QB, NY Jets) - back from injury and looking better than he did anytime last season
• Fred Warner (LB, San Francisco) - one of (if not the) best LB in the NFL
• **Brady Christensen (OG/OT, Carolina) - starting at LG after beating Michael Jordan out for the role, possibly also the backup LT

On roster (6), getting heavy play

• **Tyler Allgeier (RB, Atlanta) - playing as lead RB with Cordarelle Patterson out, just broke 50% snaps for the first time
• Michael Davis (CB, LA Chargers) - 4th CB (behind JC Jackson, Asante Samuel Jr, Bryce Callahan), but has started and played entire games due to injuries.  Either 100% or 0% defensive snaps at this point
• Taysom Hill (TE/QB/?, New Orleans) - reverting back to gadget role, but will likely be involved in a variety of ways - offensive snap count ranges from 10%-30% depending on the game, but heavy usage when he is on the field
• Sione Takitaki (LB, Cleveland) - 3rd LB, but Browns are normally 4-2-5 at this point.  Was mostly a special teams player the first few games, but is now seeing 60% snap share the last few weeks
• Kyle Van Noy (LB, LA Chargers) - Praised for versatility, mostly playing the ILB role in the 3-4, though he's also used as a pass-rusher on occasion from the OLB spot - playing appx 50% of snaps
• Jamaal Williams (RB, Detroit) - the clear #2 in Detroit, but in heavy rotation and carrying the load while D'Andre Swift is out

On roster (3), mostly depth/special teams

• Dax Milne (WR, Washington) - the WR5 or WR6 in Washington, plays <10% of offensive snaps, but serving in KR/PR role
• Daniel Sorenson (SS, New Orleans) - listed as the 5th safety so likely to provide depth. Has seen only one defensive snap, but active on special teams
• Khyiris Tonga (NT, Chicago Atlanta Minnesota) - cut by Bears, who then declined to place him on their practice squad, but added to Falcons practice squad, then signed by Vikings off the Falcons' practice squad. Has yet to make any appearances on defense or special teams

On practice squad (4)

• Zayne Anderson (S, Kansas City) - passed through waivers and signed to KC practice squad
• James Empey (C/OG, Dallas Miami) - Passed through waivers and added to Miami practice squad after Dallas declined to place him on theirs
• Harvey Langi (LB, New England Denver) - passed through waivers and signed to NE practice squad, before being released. Broncos then signed him to their practice squad.
• **Ty'Son Williams (RB, Indianapolis Arizona) - passed through waivers in August and available to any PS squad team, but nobody picked him up until 12 October when the Cardinals grabbed him

• Matt Bushman (TE, Kansas City) - Injured in preseason, cut and then bought out with injury settlement

Clear Starters (9)

• Cody Barton (LB, Seattle) - first year as full-time starter, getting 85% snap count and generally looking good
• Julian Blackmon (S, Indianapolis) - generally rated as one of the better safeties in the league, currently out with ankle injury
• Garrett Bolles (OT, Denver) - after 3 mediocre (at best) years where he was flagged all the time for holding, seems to have put it together and is seen as a high-end LT at this point, but just went down with a season-ending injury
• Jaylon Johnson (CB, Chicago) - seen as a rising CB, tends to be overaggressive, but foundational piece, has played 100% in every game he's been healthy, but has missed a few with injury
• Devin Lloyd (LB, Jacksonville) - recently drafted rookie, rookie of the month and looking very solid
• Matt Gay (K, LA Rams) - failed in TB, got second life in Los Angeles and did fairly well.  Not a great kicker, but fine.
• Tim Patrick (WR, Denver - IR) - placed on season-ending IR in preseason, but led Broncos in receiving TDs each of that last 2 years and in receiving yards over those 2 years (cumulative, was #2 in each year)
• Marcus Williams (FS, Baltimore) - Baltimore plans to play a 3 safety lineup to get him on the field after signing him to a big contract.  Was playing every snap, but now on IR (not season-ending with wrist dislocation)
• Mitch Wishnowsky (P, San Francisco) - he's a punter...pretty good one, but not much to say here

On roster (4), getting heavy play

• **Terrell Burgess (S, LA Rams) - Started as 3rd safety for the Rams, mostly filling a bench role, but Rapp was benched for him in their last game where Burgess played every snap
• Leki Fotu (DT, Arizona) - NT, gets situational play and with 40% snap share has his largest role yet
• Zach Moss (RB, Buffalo) - #2 back in Buffalo (though in danger of dropping to #3 with arrival of James Cook). Snap count this year is 22% (down from mid 40s in previous years and in danger of dropping to lower category)
• Eric Rowe (S/CB, Miami) - overpaid on his contract, but kept because of his versatility.  Can be a 3rd safety and even play slot corner in a pinch, on the field for 40% of defensive snaps, but only 10% in his last game

On roster (4), mostly depth/special teams

• **Britain Covey (WR/RS, Philadelphia) - passed through waivers, signed to Philly practice squad. After being elevated the maximum-allowed 3 times, was signed to 53. No offensive snaps yet, serves as team PR.
• Javelin Guidry (CB, NY Jets Arizona Las Vegas) - cut by Jets, signed by the Arizona Cardinals, cut by the Cardinals, signed by the Raiders, only 18 defensive snaps on the year and some ST
• Chase Hansen (LB, New Orleans) - cut, passed through waivers, signed to New Orleans practice squad, then activated to 53 man.  Has only played on ST.
• Tyler Huntley (QB, Baltimore) - seen as one of the better backup QBs despite limited snaps/appearances

On practice squad (6)

• Bradlee Anae (DE, NY Jets) - passed through waivers, signed to NY Jets practice squad
• *Jackson Barton (OT, Las Vegas) - made the initial 53 as the backup LT behind Kolton Miller, but has since been cut and signed to practice squad
• Cole Fotheringham (TE, Las Vegas) - passed through waivers, signed to Las Vegas practice squad
• Nephi Sewell (LB, New Orleans) - passed through waivers, signed to New Orleans practice squad

• Dallin Leavitt (S, Green Bay) - 3rd or 4th safety, has a large ST role, no defensive snaps
• Jordan Love (QB, Green Bay) - clear backup QB behind Aaron Rodgers
• Patrick Scales (LS, Chicago) - he's a long snapper...not much to say
• Jalen Davis (CB, Cincinnati) - played well in preseason, but 5th or so CB, has only made appearances on ST
• Tipa Galeai (LB, Green Bay) - apparently a key special teamer, listed at LB, but really he's there for ST, where he plays a major role

• Deven Thompkins (WR/RS, Tampa Bay) - passed through waivers, signed to Tampa Bay practice squad

• Braxton Jones^ (OT, Chicago) - drafted this year in the 5th round and being trusted to hold down Justin Fields' blind side - has played every snap
• Taron Johnson (CB, Buffalo) - currently starting at least until Tre'Davious White returns, likely to hold down nickel role after that

On roster (1), getting heavy play

• **Sua Opeta (OG, Philadelphia) - backup LG, depth piece, currently getting heavy snaps with multiple injuries on Eagles OL.  Likely to drop down another category when everyone is healthy, but for now he's here

On roster (2), mostly depth/special teams

• Miles Killebrew^ (S, Pittsburgh) - backup 3rd (or 4th) safety for now, pretty much only has played on ST
• Jonah Williams (DE, LA Rams) - was a long shot to make the roster, but had a great preseason and is now the backup NT.  Honestly has played more than I expected, but still only a 6% defensive snap rate

• Rashid Shaheed (WR/RS, New Orleans) - passed through waivers, signed to New Orleans practice squad
