I don't think either conference will be able to raid the other, but what if Amazon gets a deal with the PAC and decides they want more inventory and is willing to overpay to get the most attractive teams possible that also align with the PAC's mission/values?
Add 6 teams from the current Big XII and together with Oklahoma and Texas they can dissolve the conference and leave without any penalty. PAC adds Iowa State, Kansas, and Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and say TCU. Get the best quality teams available. Departing teams avoid any sort of buyout. Amazon gets a lot more inventory.
That doesn't seem that impossible to me. I don't think that will happen, but lot's of BYU fans cheering on the Utes to the MWC. Will be telling to see their response if the opposite happens. Again, I think both are unlikely.
