Twitter, by design, is for "last words" and pithy statements. You can't have an intellectual conversation when the
tweet goes, "Here is the situation on the ground in Ukraine, 1/571"
It has it's place (I enjoy it for the humor and breaking news headlines), but I doubt it will ever be the "goto" place for real conversation or in-depth content.

The taste for social media is strong. If it implodes, that only leaves FB and companies that Meta owns.
