No mechanics answer is close to 25 minutes. Closest I saw was an hour but that was for a 4 cylinder, and twice that for 6.
So I just don’t believe you. If you believe 25 minutes then I think you lack self awareness. Why because also I don’t believe you’re including all the time it takes to actually do the job. Move the car into position, get the right tools together, attach the diagnostic computer to diagnose the problem, rule out other issues, take everything off needed to expose the plugs, driving to the store, ordering the plugs, driving back, getting caught at a couple of stop lights, installing the plugs, driving it to make sure it feels ok, hooking it back up to the computer to make sure the problem is fixed. That takes more than 25 minutes, don’t care who you are.
Let’s agree we are glad your car is fixed, that there are nice people in the world, and that you shouldn’t go to that mechanic.
