I don’t think too many in the football world are going to give us a very high grade on a curve here. If I’m being objective, nope. They will compliment us on being good guys, treating the players well, having a great fan base and picturesque stadium, etc. For so long we have lived on a budget with staff. Ironically, we can’t afford that anymore.

OTOH, Kalani got he and his guys a big raise last year, and then got more comfortable and lazy in the status quo. Time for Tom Holmoe (don’t think so) or somebody to step in and demand a big upgrade in coaching. If you’re not getting it done, move on. No more unproven guys. Pay for proven guys to overhaul the defense, recruiting office, and make the other tactical changes needed. Laying an egg in the B12 will have lasting consequences and we can’t afford that.
