One day a long time ago I made the naive comment “who would ever fly from LA to
Vegas” well then anyway one thing led to another and I got stuck for 9 hours between Vegas and LA and now there is no price I wouldn’t pay.
Authors note: this happened like 11 years ago when I unthinkingly drive back to CA on Memorial Day. To go from Vegas to Primm took 2.5 hours. People were literally driving off through the desert like Mad Max. Others just posted up with chairs on the side of the road. It was 112 degrees on my dashboard reading.
I wanted to die.
Never do this.
