What kind of driving do you do on a regular basis?
If you are commuting around town, there isn't any range anxiety. Plug it in when you get home and it easily recharges by the next morning. For around town commuting and running errands, it would be extremely difficult to reach its range limits.

When I have taken road trips (I've done two) the car's mapping system will map out the route and tell you where all the charging stations are and include them in the navigation plan. You can modify where you stop easily, if you want to. Superchargers (if driving a Tesla) charge extremely fast and we have found it not to be a significant hassle. Road trips will take a bit longer. We added about 45 minutes to our 12 hour trip from Spokane to Provo for the Utah State game this year. In the grand scheme of things it wasn't that big of a deal, especially considering how much money we saved on gas for that round trip.

Batteries are different now than what we understood them to be in the past. The number of times that you charge it is not as significant a factor. You should plug it in every day. What hurts the battery is charging it all the way to 100% or letting it drain to close to 0%. So I have my daily charging limit set at 70%. When I'm prepping it for a long road trip I will raise the limit to whatever is necessary to get to my first stop. When I'm super-charging the car will tell you how much you need to charge to safely get to the next charging stop so that you don't unnecessarily charge to 100%. Also, charging is much slower at the edges of the battery capacity and fastest in the middle, so you don't necessarily want to spend the time charging to 100% every time you stop.

The most range anxiety I've had was with our Expedition. My wife picked me up at the airport the other day with a nearly empty tank and we barely made it to the gas station. I filled it with more gas than the published capacity of the tank. So I don't really get all the anxiety about range anxiety. Every car has range limits. Superchargers are all over. Every store and home as an electric outlet that you can plug in to in a pinch. More and more hotels have chargers in their parking lots. There are a lot more options than there used to be even a couple of years ago.
