I don't have anything personally against people that went to Utah. I'm from a split family, but I come to Cougarboard for news about....checks notes...the BYU Cougars. I'm amused, baffled, and annoyed at the in state rivalry bringing the dumb here, so I just mute the Utes that are here and talk smack.

I definitely hear you that a lot of BYU folks here post anti-Utah stuff. It's rubbed off on me across the country for better or worse.

Anyways, my point is that the "rent free" thing isn't really rent free because many Utes are proactively coming here to get inside our heads, so it's not people here just complaining in a vacuum.
