Makes sense. I played as a kid, but haven’t watched much as an adult. I certainly don’t understand a lot of it likely.
I just see a bunch of guys kicking back and forth to each other. Occasionally something exciting happens. Then 10 more minutes of kicking it back and forth to each other.

My tips as sort of neutral soccer fan: wait for the knockout round so that games can't tie, maybe only watch 2nd halves
