Why do you think Odum is any good? He hasn't done much in 6 yrs as DC at SJSU.
Maile has had much better results. He's from the area and a RM.
Nua (former BYU player and grad) played in the NFL for 4 yrs, has coached at Navy, ASU, Michigan and now USC.
Poppinga (former BYU player and grad) played in the NFL, coached at BYU, VA and now Boise St. Experience as a co-defensive coordinator.
I'm not saying any should be our next DC, but I'd at least try to interview them.
Why exactly do you think Odum should be our DC? What has he done that's so amazing?
