I guess, since I don’t plan on attending I don’t really care about what bowl they play in. Nobody remembers them.

And in the independence era I’ve accepted that byu is just playing in some forgettable game against a mostly forgettable opponent.

With the exception being the year we played Utah in Vegas. But that only had meaning because it was against Utah.

Maybe my opinion will change with the B12 tie-ins. But again, maybe not.

Because there are too many bowls and too many teams get invited. Getting to a bowl game doesn’t really mean anything anymore.

I’m old enough to remember when good teams still didn’t get to go to a bowl game.

Now everyone with 6 wins (and some years even teams who don’t have 6 wins) gets to go. And again, factoring in the playoff, none of the other games matter.
