There is and always will be a dearth of quality starting QBs in the NFL. It's why just this very year guys like:

- Darnold and Mayfield battle it out in Carolina, only to lose their jobs to some guy named PJ Walker.
- Journeyman Brissett finds a home in Cleveland
- Jimmy G hangs in in San Fran
- Wilson looking like a lost cause in Denver
- Dalton becomes a starter again in NO
- Mac Jones goes back and forth with Zappe in NE
- Wentz gets rehabbed by Washington
- Trubisky gets trotted out in Pittsburg

Etc, etc, etc. If Zach can figure out how to successfully sling it, he'll easily be a starter again. At the least, there's a dozen desperate teams every year looking for their guy and one of them will give Zach another shot.
