You stay on the post until the first touch of the ball-a corner is a direct kick
- provided the ball isn't still in the danger zone (essentially 6 yard box). In this case it was a glancing redirect header that gave no time to react, nor was the ball out of the danger zone. That defender is NOT the guilty party on conceding that goal.
