There’s a lot of good that happens on Cougarboard. For example I had a young man in my ward who was very poor. A miracle he decided to go in a mission. I asked for advice about his mission and some dude on Cougarboard sent me money and paid for the kids initial purchase of clothes for his mission. Good people reside here. Passionate people reside here. And losers reside here.
I do think I enjoyed Cougarboard more when I was in my 30s. I get bothered by the groupthink that happens so quickly. Some ideas are thrown out there and it becomes Cougarboard truths! Groupthink is absolutely real around here. It is true for all message boards and social media.
