The fun part is that if he signs with the Yankees, it will instantly be one of those terrible deals for a 30+ year old
That will likely age poorly. It will be everything that casuals pretend the lengthy deals to Machado/Harper were 4 years ago.
But if he doesn’t sign with the Yankees, that team is going to be terrible. They need him desperately.
