I’m not going to penalize them for a drive with 30 seconds left with 0 timeouts….which started with a false start at the 15 yard line.
If USC had one more full drive in that game without Addison and they scored a TD, it would have been 67%. In other words, the sample size to make any conclusion is far too small.
Also, on the one drive where they didn’t score without him, the reason they didn’t score was a false start and then a corner blitz where Williams was sacked within seconds. That created a 3rd and 18. In other words, their mistakes had nothing to do with Addison.
It’s a really really dumb argument to make. They lost because they gave up 43 points to Utah.
